Dee Holden (16?) rides support B and Corey Brookes (14) usually rides support A -but he's getting really GOOD. Has been riding 'much older than his age' lately....AND he rides a 250 not a 500! Holy smokes do you know what's coming ?
Casey Donholt (17?) has become a very proficient D-1 rider in the past 2 seasons. He won the handicap main Sunday night with McConnell hot on his trail... It was a great race. Probably the best of the meet.
As you'll read elsewhere McConnell won the scratch main -but only by maybe 6" from Flyin' Brian Hollenbeck ( whose foto you already have...) Brian CAN run HARD.
Warren Diem is 'dad' to 15yr. old Jesse 'the jet'.... Warren 'retired' about 6-7 years ago. We're working on him to make a comeback. ;-) Warren usta HAUL-ASS. the attached shot (as 'fixed' by me with MS picture viewer ) of him I took after the race was over, riding Jesse's bike from afar. He was sailin' big time.
