Bobby “Boogaloo” Schwartz will turn 50 later this year but you’d never guess it from his performance last weekend in the Spring Classic at Costa Mesa Speedway.

Bobby christened the newly re-designed track at America’s oldest Speedway venue with a popular Scratch Main victory over Chris Manchester.

Schwartz won several main events last season and ranked No. 8 in the AMA National Championship Series.

Congratulations to Bobby for his first victory of 2006 and to Brad Oxley and International Speedway Corp. on their ambitious renovation of the Speedway facilities at the Orange County Fairgrounds.
